Barker's is still fairly pristine and remote. You can ride horses along the water, hike, sunbathe, and relax without the cruise ship issues. Lovely place for a nice day of sunning, swimming, and picnicking. Absolutely beautiful!
We stopped by here on a Jeep Tour. We literally spent only a few minutes here. While I would've loved to stay longer it was absolutely beautiful and serene. A little piece of paradise.
This area of the beach is mostly used for the horseback riding tours. It isn't a good one to go pitch a blanket and sunbathe. The beach had washed up seaweed all over so it was a bit rougher, and this particular area had a decent amount of trash that washes up from the ocean (rather than visitors to the... 更多
Well, if it was called national park, it should be breathtaking, right? Wrong for this place. There was no sign to get there. And there were really nothing to see when you got there. When you got to some beaches your car could reach, there were trash bags and plenty glass beer bottles. Really disappointed!
Amazing park with lots of interesting sights. Suitable for all ages and all levels of activity. A bit quieter than 7 mile beach, but still plenty to see with lots of sealife on the reef. Stopped to watch people riding horses along the beach as well as some kite surfing.
The beach on this park is really good for those who love solitude and sound of the waves. The beach has a barrier reef about 2 or 3 hundred yards off shore with the depth to the reef averaging about 4 feet with a lot of brain coral, small coral, star fish and the odd barracuda. The closer to the... 更多
This beach/park area is quite nice and isn't as packed as 7 mile beach. Grab a coconut from the vendor outside the park and enjoy the gorgeous Cayman sand.
Worth the ride to walk on the beach and see all the Conch and sealife . Locals say to avoid it it after dark but we felt safe there during the day. Remember to drive slow as the rode is sometimes old exposed reef rocks.
Very secluded. The water is shallow for quite a ways so you can explore. We saw a starfish and an octopus. We only got to spend about an hour but will go back for a longer time. Very quiet. Not many people. There are windsurfers and horseback riders.
