Waste of time . should have walked around town and had local food and shopped The lava area at Hell was interesting but not worth the drive
We visited the rum cake factory on our way to the rum factory. You could sample and purchase a good variety of both rum cake and rum. You could view the making of the cakes as well.
The prices at the Rum and Rum Cake Factory are not any better than anywhere else you see the Tortuga Rum Cakes, however, you can sample many of the flavors as well as the rum.
As part of my tour of Grand Cayman with Johanna, I visited this place. It is nice. They sell rum and rum cakes. The rum cake is awesome. One gets to try free samples of rum and cakes, and if you want (I recommend it) to buy, you do. Prices are decent. No pressure at all. There is also a... 更多
They do not actually make the rum here. It is basically a shop we're they sell rum. Then again there were lots of flavors of rum as well as rum cake. They hade some nice T-shirts as well that were funny as well as other little knock knacks. It was basically a place where the sold you overpriced tourist stuff.
It is a nice store where they sell local rum and rum cakes, not really a tour but you will have a nice chat and taste their rum cakes. It is worth a 20 minute visit if you have a car and are in the area. Incidentally it is across from the distillery so you can combine both.
As part of a Carnival cruise excursion, we stopped for 15 minutes. Ultimately, this is not a factory tour. I did sample the coconut rum and bought several bottles. As far as the rum cake, I didn't think it was that good and did not buy any. The rum that you purchase is sent back to your cruise ship, then... 更多
Considering this rum is smooth and amazing, and the rum cakes are tasty, this is certainly not a factory. In fact, the person working at the store told us the rum is made in Jamaica! I think the rum cakes are at least made locally. I think. If you are expecting a tour, it isn't. However, if you want to... 更多
Our tour made a quick stop here. They gave out samples of rum cake and mango infused run. Everything was delicious and they sent the liquor I bought directly to my cruise which was nice. The prices are higher than I expected though.
Lots of people in this little shop buying many of the products. To me the most interesting part of this stop is the bird and animal display.
